Different strokes for different folks from the Peoria Police Department

I just saw a police car pull up to a pedestrian on Knoxville, turn on its flashing lights and call the guy over to talk. Somehow, you never see that on High Point Drive.

To spare itself further embarassment, the Peoria cops have moved the Armadillo OFF Linn Street

I drove down Linn Street this morning and noticed that the Armadillo, the Peoria Police Department's experiment in un-armed and unmanned nuisance abatement, has been removed from its location on that street. This happened a day after the Peoria Journal Star made note of the most recent example of the flaccid threat the Armadillo posed nearby thugs: A armed attack that happened right in front of the Armadillo, an attack I mentioned IN THE PREVIOUS POST.

I suggest they plant the Armadillo out in the Weaver Ridge subdivision, where the sons and daughters of Peoria's elite and near-elite generally can smoke dope in their parent's basements without any fear of the Man.
