You can kiss this fad goodbye. Peoria polish for the past several years have gushed over it's two Armadillo vehicles. Just park either of the two former armored secuerity vans in from of a track house and the bad guys would freak out so much, the bad actors would move along, allowing traumatized neighbors to recover their neighborhood.
Well, that's NOT HAPPENING SO MUCH ANYMORE. Not that the alleged fear ever happened much, once they figured out there was no cameras inside.
The whole 'armadillo" thing was created for public consumption, not to put any actual fear into the hearts of Peoria's unabashed miscreants.
